Never let it be said that a good date is easy to come by. In fact, the direct opposite is true. A good date is often a hard thing to find. First of all, where do you even begin to look? Well, there are a lot of good places to look for a date, but we will cover the worst places to look. After all, you need to know the places to avoid so that you will be spending more time in the best places, right?

First, your family reunion is absolutely out. It does not matter how attractive your cousin is, how hot your second aunt twice removed is or how many women are there that you simply do not remember from your childhood. Unless you live in Hicktown, USA, there is no worse place to look for a date than your family reunion. I mean come on; do you really want to have kids with tentacles growing out of their heads? Even if she looks like Daisy Duke, leave her alone.

Second, let’s leave that police station alone as well. Whether you work there or just hang out looking for easy dates, the police station is a definite no-no. These women may be easy to pick up, but be realistic. A date may not be the only thing you pick up and there is just no telling what they are capable of doing to you, and not in a good way. Leave the convicts alone and move on.

Now, if you think for a minute that you can wait around at home for a female delivery girl, then you need to give it a rest. There are no hot chicks working for your local pizza parlor. The best that you will get is a feminine guy that may look good in a dress, but he will probably end up using your razor in the morning, so just let this fantasy go. Women do not work as delivery people.

Singles cruises are probably better left off your radar as well. There is just excessively much pressure to find a mate on a singles cruise. Although there may be many women available, they are there for a reason - to find a man. Think about that for a second. Do you really want a desperate woman? If you do, then maybe a singles cruise will work great for you. For those of you who just want a date and not the next twenty years of your life planned with great detail, leave the singles cruises alone.

Generally speaking, bars are not the greatest places to find dates either. Of course you can find a date, but the chances of finding a good date are slim. The bar scene is just like the singles cruise scene. Women are there to find dates, men are there to find dates and everyone generally ends up going home alone. There is just way to much pressure to find the perfect date. Unless you have exhausted all possibilities and are absolutely desperate, then the bars and nightclubs are better left alone.

Now, let’s talk about the gym. Even if you do not go to the gym you obviously know that there are hundreds of women hanging out in there right? Well, chalk this up to another bad place to find a date. Unless of course you are built like Lou Ferrigno. For men who are less than sculpted, women probably won’t pay you much attention at the gym. They are normally looking at the big, bulky guys. You know, the ones that used to kick dirt in your face at the beach. So, unless you are a professional body-builder, wrestler or were just born with the body of a god, then I recommend leaving the gym alone where women are concerned. You are much better off trying out the supermarket. Although there are ups and downs to this as well, at least at the supermarket you can gauge whether or not your date will actually know how to cook.
