Most men believe that the best place to look for a date is a bar or nightclub scene. This is so totally untrue. Women in bars and nightclubs expect men to try to pick them up, that much is true. However, keep in mind that there are hundreds of men out there trying to pick up the exact same women that you are interested in dating. It turns into a big circus and there are just simply not enough women to go around.
You should also keep in mind that most women in bars and nightclubs are looking for a one-night scenario. This is great if you are just looking to hook up for the night, but if you are looking for a woman to actually date more than once, then there are much better places to look.
Consider civic groups for instance. If you are looking for a woman to date who shares your interests, then civic groups, religious groups, even charity groups are a great place to look. Most of these groups offer weekly and/or monthly meetings. Keep in mind though that you may find some of the members a little older than what you are looking for. Be sure not to join any group that you do not really have an interest in. I mean, you don’t want to join Weight Watchers just to pick up women if you really don’t have an interest in losing weight, right? Be sure that you check out all the specifics of the group or organization that you are planning to join. You might even want to volunteer for stuff. Women love men who work with charity groups and organizations, so get yourself out there and get started.
Dance class is another good place to find a date. It makes no difference whether you can dance or not. Just join a dance class and then find an attractive lady to partner up with. These classes tend to not have many guys in attendance, so you might just be the only one. You could end up in a dance class filled with women to choose from, just be sure to single out the single ones versus those who are attached. You do not want your dance class to land you in your own version of West Side Story.
Health Food stores are also good places to look for a date. Now, keep in mind that some of the women you meet in health food stores may be a little on the, for the lack of a better word, odd side. Vegetarians and women who tend not to wear makeup can often be found in healthy food stores. There are also women who visit these types of stores who are genuinely just concerned about their health. These are the ones that you want to look for with regards to dating. And, if she is searching for healthy food alternatives, then chances are good that she is in excellent shape for extracurricular activities.
Other places that are good to check for dates include camp grounds, zoos, aquariums, generally anything to do with outside. Check the part where you walk your dog or if you do not enjoy outdoor activities, then check dog shows, cat shows, poetry clubs even. You could browse around your local movie rental store too. Women who are alone on the weekends tend to rent movies for entertainment. The next time you head to Blockbuster, be sure to spend a little time browsing through all the chick flicks. You may find someone to share your movie with.
And then there are the normal spots. You know like the mall, restaurants, bookstores, that sort of thing. Of course, you could always stop in at your local lingerie shop and pretend to be picking something up for your mother. Or better yet, head over to the florist and see who you might find there. Public places, especially stores that attract women, are probably the best place to find women. Makes sense, huh?
