After keeping American consumers waiting for months Canon has finally decided to bring the PowerShot SX1 IS to US. Canon PowerShot SX1IS, was introduced in Europe last year, this camera is similiar to PowerShot SX10 and uses same design and lens but the similarities end there. This camera features a 10 Megapixel CMOS sensor, a rotating widescreen LCD display, and capabilty to record video in FULL HD (1080P) and also comes with an HDMI port for HD display on your flat panel tv's. It's on expensive side, but for those who are looking for a ultimate hybrid camera, it may be worth the money.
