Terrafugia Transition (Flying Car) achieved it's first flight at Plattsburgh International Airport in New York on March 5th, 2009. According to the manufacturer Transition is being designed to offers true door-to-door transportation for pilots.
The Transition has front wheel drive on the road and uses high-octane unleaded auto gas. Transition offers full vehicle parachute with modern glass avionics. When folded it sits 6 feet 9 inch tall, 80 inch wide and 18 feet 9 inch long, In Airplane mode it is 6 feet 3 inch tall, 19 feet 2 inch long with a wingspan of 27 feet 6 inch. Alternate View
